This is ze outfit I wore to class today. For two reasons: a) I was struck by the decision to look slightly romantic for my Romanticism and Modernity class (we were reading Wordsworth this week, what a sap); and b) because my mum finally brought this shirt/dress back with her from Europe. She bought it before she left and I fell in love with it, but she went overseas and I missed it dearly. I love that it’s just long enough for me to wear as a dress!
This dress has appeared in a recent post, but I wanted to show how different styling (and new hair!) can completely change a basic like this. I originally wore it with an antique gold cameo necklace, black studded belt and nude shoes. Check out that outfit here. This time I’ve hardened it up a bit with my satin shrunken biker jacket, black tights and buckle boots. I received a couple of compliments from a very stylish indie-looking boy, too!
Oh yeah, the blog title includes lyrics from ‘Wilco (The Song)’ from Wilco’s new album Wilco (The Album). Haha. Those guys are great.
