Why hello there!
Wore this to the mall the other day. Mall of America to be exact. One decent thing about Minnesota is that we have a giant mall in which you can find anything you’ve ever wanted :)
So as I was stomping around in my heels a sweet salesperson told me I was channeling Alexander Wang! That was about the third greatest moment of my day .. the others?
1. Seeing “the ugly truth” with my bestie. She has a fiance in Korea (even though she’s only 18, but I guess they do that there?) Yet she is stuck living in the U.S. until she can get citizenship. this leaves her very depressed and horny during romantic films such as this one. She’s also the type of person who’s not afraid to yell everything she’s feeling at the movie screen. So being the good friend I am, I just laugh.
2. Finding a high waisted skirt for 50% off + finding a waist belt that actually fits around my waist. I’ll pair them up sometime soon.
3. The compliment :)
Note: Now typically I find witty button-pins horribly obnoxious. Same thing with bumper stickers. However as I was perusing through some quite afro-centric stores at Howard University’s campus in D.C, I made myself an exception. Now, I frequently get head nods from progressive folks whenever I’m carrying this bag!
