I think the length of the typical maxi dress is so feminine and womanly that men can't help but be seduced by it. And with that veryyy high slit? It's just mouth-watering.

Funny story about this vintage 1970s strapless column dress w/side slit.

Okay, so i was super happy to find it, cuz the color is way pretty (better than in the pics), but it was strapless and had a side slit that was sky high, AND is from the 70s!

So right off, that is just like 10000000 points of coolness right there!

So I bring it home will all the other goodies, and pull it out the bag and my husband is standing there and gets all “Oooh….you gonna try that on for me?” and I’m all “WTF?” cuz seriously…I already know there is NO WAY IN FREAKING HELL this is gonna look good on me.

But what the hell, I try it on for him anyway, with the same necklace in the pics, the same shoes…etc…

And of course I look in the mirror and want to cry because it WOULD look good on me, of not for the BOOBZ…seriously guys, ya’ll have not ever seen a pic of me for a reason, and it’s cuz even though I am petite, a bit on the curvy side (I look like a little pixie everyone says), but my boobs are SO disproportionate to the rest of me, that is makes me look like a I weigh 50 pounds more than I actually do! It really throws EVERYTHING off, and distorts everything I wear, so I never wear anything cool (hence why I sell so many things online).

Well, I don’t mean to rant, or obsess about my figure in a negative way… but anyhoo, so I try on the dress, and walk out of the room, feeling like a tool, when my husband sees me.

And his eyes light up like a Christmas tree, and he blushes a bit (even after 11 years together), and he says how beautiful I am in the dress and how lucky he is that a schlub like him could have ever gotten a Goddess like me to marry him.

Isn’t that sweet?

No matter how bad I think I look, or how crappy I FEEL about how I look, my husband thinks I am the most beautiful woman in the world.

Proof that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. So take that to heart ya’ll. You are beautiful to somebody…no matter how big yer boobz is…lolz…
