That’s how I’d describe this outfit. These were taken right after going to the Alameda Flea Market with the boyfriend and Lily (so… this is from 7/5? I’m an awful blogger. Also, thanks for driving, Lily!!! :D) so I was really into everything old and kinda musty. But the slouchy hat and sweater bespeak a grunge aesthetic, so grunge granny it is!
I’m wearing a couple of finds from the Flea Market that I was too excited about to wait!
The antique watch container (??) necklace was procured for just a dollar since the lady selling it didn’t really care. I think it might have once contained a watch or something else, and might have once opened, but it does neither now.
The floral tapestry bag was definitely the find of the day! At $25, it was a bit more than I like to pay for stuff at the Flea Market, but it’s too good to resist! I’d been looking for the perfect little floral tapestry bag for ages and this one is it! Though it’s certainly not small. One of the largest vintage purses I’ve found, in fact (luggage doesn’t count).
And yeah, I really do wear that hat too much. (I’m actually wearing it as I type!) Possibly one of my most worthwhile purchases ever. :D
