I'm still amazed at your ability to layer. You somehow always pick the right things although each piece comes from a different 'category.' I have similar boots, but I always feel like I can't pull them off *jealous. Love the dress, I always adore the lacey fringe peeping from chiffon. Your pictures turned out amazing. See, I would never have anticipated shadows in the wrong places.

i'm not usually a fan of lace but you've got me converted. i love the distressed look of the black jacket and the touch of the belt adds that extra oomph to the outfit. in my opinion, mixing and matching is a great way to express yourself. it's great to showcase a stereoptypical type but that can be mindless at times and cookie-cutter.

I am always very hesitant to take pictures under the bushes as you would never know where the shadow will hit you and if or not it would give you an unexpected “black eye” …. So, when we decided to give a try that day for the Bush-shot, i was really doubtful …. however, since my partner and i agreed earlier on when we took on the task of documenting my daily wear that we would try every angle and every setting at least once – we went for the shoot with the usual participation….

We were quite fortune as the light was soft enough that it did not give any type of “burn” feel to the pictures … Surprisingly on the controversy, i quite enjoyed the random spots of sun that showered on me …. and the reflections bring out the different textures of the outfit ….

The very last picture was a close-up of what i was wearing underneath the blazer … i really like to pair something that is shrunk, torn, or grunge with something that is elegant and pretty … this outfit is one example of that…

BTW: i enjoyed reading all your comments from last post!! I was so impressed with some of your writings: precise, to the point, expressive – and often i found myself reading things that i wanted to express but could not find the right words…. so, here, i am sending out my love for all of you ….
