wow that looks fkn fabulous! (actual words) you did a really great job - i tried shredding a singlet once and wasn't happy with the result so i kinda gave up but kudos to ya - that must've taken ages. your patience has paid off very nicely!

i love this!! i did the same thing to a shirt yet i havent had the guts to wear it yet 'cause it's not completely shredded...but now im inspired lol
LOVE your shredded dresses. They must've taken forever to create. I bet they'll be great to layer with in the winter too. May I ask how one would launder that? It looks so delicate that I would think it would just fall apart or become a tangled mess in the wash, even with a lingerie/net bag in a machine or if washing by hand. How do you preserve your creation when cleaning it?
Your welcome! The shirts I use are just from joann fabrics, but if you use a shirt thats already softer or more fragile and thin... I would wash it by hand and let it air dry
thanks for letting me know! I've been thinking of shredding but was worried about how it would stand up to washing. I'm impressed it only took 4 hours to make. :)
Thanks! Actually it only took me about 4 hours...I've gotten quite fast at it. I wash it just like all my other clothes, it doesn't fall apart!
I have yet to wear my shredded clothes out too but I think once school start totally will try to.

Hi! How have you all been? I’m so sorry for neglecting chictopia… I have so busy with school, and then summer came along and I was in New York City for a week then Chicago. I just really had not had the time to take photos!
I feel like you all probably think that I only wear shreded dresses because of this and my last post! Haha. Actually this is the first time I wore one out in public. I started a Fashion summer camp/course at the Cranbrook Academy of Art Monday and this is what I wore on the 3rd day of class. Excuse me for looking so tired and mean in the photo, it was around 7:30 a.m.
I pinky promise to take a picture everyday of what I wear to class, well almost everyday!
*Oh one more thing: While I was walking to class, I heard girls talking behind me saying “WTF! (only the real words) Look how long her dress is….and I thought we were weird.” Haha I giggled to myself :)
