yes, I am going into completely gray tone in this outfit … and continue the menswear influences (both the tee and trousers) …
i was very eager to wear the pants – you see, the window of opportunities to wear it really is not so often: to get the right volume when bunching in the hems depends greatly on the weather: it can’t be too hot, too cold, too windy, nor raining… also, it only works with heels … no flats, sneakers, flip flop or boots of any sorts …. haha… i know what you might be thinking: how could it be so tricky and complicate??? The truth is: sometimes, the simplest thing need extra attentions in order for it to work – something like this pair of Rachel Comey wool trousers that has complicate design details, the fabric simply doesn’t drape the same way as the regular menswear wool trousers – so in order to have that slouch feel i wanted, i can only have luxury to wear it in a perfect sunny day, preferably no wind blowing :-) !! So, here i was: in a perfectly calm morning with beautiful sunlight, i putted on my very favorite pants, xoxo
