So i haven’t updated in ages and mainly because i’ve been traveling again… i arrived in houston not too long ago. I’ve been staying with my grandma and i’ll be off to Seattle in two more weeks. I’m not sure i’ll ever stop traveling. either way its been extreemly hot and i’ve contemplated wearing nothing many if not most days. But it this heat is nothing when compared with this past summer in Sydney. We endured the hottest day on record ever, it was for most of the day the single hottest place in the world. I guess its this heat that has me yet again thinking about sydney…
Back in Sydney i bought this vest for like 00.50$ or less and its been a favorite of mine since, but more recently i haven’t worn it, so today seemed appropriate, what with the heat and all and my contemplative disposition.
Oh and i finished recording which was nice me and my brother finished it in time for me to leave. I love music and playing it and all but i don’t like the idea of celebrity where they take the whole art of music/lifestyle/clothes and all that and make it into nothing but an image…we should remember that we are walking art and that all that we wear, say, do, make and essentially exude is our art.
Mr Nietsche himself said and i wont quote since i can’t remember the exact way he crafted his sentence, but something to the effect of: the peak of all human activity is art. What could be truer? Art is not only subjective but contrary to our previous beliefs it is also now post-medium. So we live our art, life is art and here’s my brushstroke for today.
