As you can see, I’m actually circulating the same pieces quite a lot. You have seen every single piece before – except the giant A.F. Vandevorst bolero thingy. It’s one of the very few high profile designer clothes I own. I absolutely adore it! It’s very lightweight dark charcoal wool-nylon mix, soft as baby’s cheek and sets as huge sculptural pile of fabric to my back. It can be worn in different ways, my head fits easily from the sleeve opening and that gives interesting wrapping options.
In Finland there is very limited selection of designer clothes available – and that small selection tends to be very basic pieces. I don’t want to buy basic pieces when I pay designer prices – I want something special! Of course I have bought something from my travel trips to big cities, but there is another problem. Designer clothes are expensive and I want to consider my purchases carefully. In few days trip that is not possible and I can’t afford expensive mistakes.
My plan for the future is that I will favor online shops and plan my purchases carefully. Sizing and fit will give some challenges, though…
This is one of the older pics, so the quality is not the best.
