Hi Uglies!
So, a month and a bunch of posts later, I’ve finally realized that I haven’t actually properly introduced myself to the Chictopia community. LAME!!! I’d also like to introduce the newest member to Coed ugly; Nancy. So here, we give you a basic overview of ourselves. First up, Wendy!
Name: Wenxiu Chu (but people call me Wendy for kinda obvious reasons)
Age: 20
Location: Berkeley, CA
Occupation: Going-into-4th-year student at UC Berkeley, double majoring in Psychology and Business and minoring in English. Marketing TA. Also, intern at Chictopia, of course.
Hobbies: Graphic design, fawning over much-too-expensive clothing at Anthropologie, attempting to cook
Favorite Foods: Tofu sandwiches, corn chowder, flautas with guacamole, Nation’s veggie burgers, Pad Thai, that weird pretzel/cracker hybrid thing. ( I’m vegetarian, btw. And apparently a fatty.)
Likes: Old stuff (antique malls are amazing!), shiny stuff, high heels, dessert, making a fool of myself (apparently), good package design
Dislikes: Cilantro, Crocs, Comic Sans, that kid in middle school who put gum in my hair >:(
Hey Uglies,
Just a quick intro of myself so you’re not all wondering who that deranged girl is once I start posting on Coed!
Name: Nancy Kim
Age: 20
Occupation: Rhetoric Major at UC Berkeley, Intern, and disgruntled sales associate.
Hobbies: Watching foreign soap operas, watching the food network, watching Skins, so basically TV. Also I have a tendency to pick up the accents and slang used on the foreign shows I watch, so apologies in advanced.
Dreams/ Aspirations: I want to be Martha Stewart minus the jail time. Not sure how I’m gonna swing that one quite yet.
Likes: Kitties, OPI nail polish, Japanese hair magazines, hotpot, shaved ice, Spock
Dislikes: Flip-flops, sun burn, bathing suits, sand. Apparently I don’t like summer.
If you guys have any questions please leave a comment and we’ll respond in a post next week!
*Also topic suggestions would be much appreciated as well, we’d love to know what you guys want to see on Coed!.
Cheers,
