Sorry about the night pictures… I never get ready to go out until it’s dark (which, I guess, would be the case for most people.) I would take them during the day before getting ready, but usually I have greasy hair and no make up on. Not very glamorous, to be sure.
Anyway, this is the outfit that I wore to an indie night called Andrew McLelland’s Finishing School. It has everything one could ever want: amazing tunes, a good crowd, a killer balcony and baked goods that lie readily awaiting a drunken nibble! It was pretty genius. I bought this dress at General Pants Co. because it reminded me of Balmain’s latest collection. It’s hard to see, but it has adorable little puffy shoulders and jewels on the collar.
I thought I’d include a close up of my make up for you guys, too. I wore my new Napoleon fake eyelashes, which blend really well with your own lashes, and made a gradient from silver, to gray, to black, eyeshadow. MAC also make really beautiful eyelashes, but they’re a little bit pricier. My tip is that you should always blend eyeshadows tonally and never use eyeliner on the inside of your eye, as this makes them look smaller. I line my bottom lashes with a crayon-style eyeliner underneath the bottom lashes.
