american dream

we went to lansing, michigan to hang out with some old friends for the 4th. it was a fun time, but the effects of the recession are so apparent there. i stopped in at a wendy’s in it was like being in time warp. there was literally nothing that indicated that this is in fact 2009 and not 1984.

this is one of my favorite dresses by charlotte ronson. at some point i’ll post a good picture of the back. it has buttons to the waist line and a cut out at the middle of my back.
