Yesterday’s story: I went out to lunch with my family for Canada Day. I don’t ever order anything but salad so I asked my sister to order a side dish salad and I would have that. So the waiter (Daniel) comes and asks us what we’re all ordering, and my sister says “I’ll have a quesadilla and with the salad I want no dressing, no lettuce…” and we all laughed at her. At the end of our meal Daniel brings the bill and a little thank you card. It had a silly stick figure drawn on the top and it said “I’ll have a salad, hold the salad” then he thanked us and said it made his day. Cuteee.
Now on to today. I actually went to Yorkville finally, but unfortunately I was not impressed with a lot of the things they were selling. I’ve seen a lot of online stores which sell the same designers, only it’s their better designs and cheaper prices. Even the sales were not so great. I only went to Hazelton Lanes so hopefully when I explore the rest of the area on Sunday I’ll find better things. One really cool thing happened when I went to Sesso Boutique, a store that sells very high end designers. The owner was talking to me and somehow we got on the topic of me working there. Even though I didn’t even have my resume with me, he seemed interested in hiring me and we basically had the interview right then and there. He said to call him if I was certain that I wanted to work there, and if I’m not he’d also be willing to get me a job at any other store I might want to work at.
Now, I’m not sure if this is too good to be true, sooooooo if you happen to live in Toronto you would be of great help. What kind of experiences did you have if you shopped at Sesso Boutique and would you recommend I take the job there?
