Yeah, I'm pretty much obsessed with these shorts right now. They fit like a dream! That never happens to me with shorts/pants! If you're ever in Oakland, I got them at Pretty Penny and since they're not vintage, they might still have a few pairs in stock!

awesome, i love the variations of patterns from the top to the shorts. The hat is cool and so is the bow-tie. I think it looks more interesting with it's off-center though.

That’s how I would describe this outfit. I was trying to just mix plaids at first with the shirt and the shorts, but it ended up looking kind of silly and cartoon-ish in a vintage way. The sequin bow barrette-turned-tie pretty much sealed the deal there. I’m thinking a pocket protector wouldn’t look out of place here… If only they still sold them.
Nothing terribly special. just a silly summer-y outfit. :)
