I FINALLY GOT TO GO OUT TODAY!!!
I was finally allowed a break from self-confinement to watch TRANSFORMERS 2 which was basically a movie where I watched boys swooon over Megan Fox (haute hot haute) and go wide-eyed at robots. As usual, given that I am far from being techie and given that Star Wars and Star Trek mean the same thing for me, I did not understand the movie. I only got to watch the first one 3 weeks ago and while I did try my hardest to grasp what was going on, I failed horribly and ended up accepting Glitterati orders in the cinema.
My boyfriend was getting quite irritated with me given that I incessantly asked questions about the who, what, where and why of the scenes and after a while, I stopped asking questions and did that thing where I look straight like i’m paying attention when in fact, I’m just thinking random things. Sitting beside Nina, who like me, did not speak robot didn’t help and I must say it was our first experience where we were with each other for 2 1/2 hours where we didn’t find anything to talk about.
Anyway, I know it’s a bit tooooo metallic for a movie but I’m all for the shimmer and shine. I’ve waited 7 long days in pajamas so my first outfit out would have to be totally explosive. Aside from that, I went out with friends after to have some post-movie chill session, so the skirt ended up being a good idea afterall.
Again, this skirt is from you know it GLITTERATI and is the goldish-bronze version of the skirt I wore about 5 posts ago. I love the Midas Touch effect it has to it and how brilliantly it glitters which of course catches instant attention when walking in a very very crowded place. Trust me, the people I was with, experienced no trouble whatsoever locating me. Naturally, this is one of my most-loved skirts as well- the cut is highwaist, the length is perfect for elongating and the material is just fantastic with a lame brocade effect to it- plus… ITS GOLD! I’m a golden girl that way.
Anyway, I am definitely obliged to stay home tomorrow since i am still sick and i need to rest. I might just drop by our bazaar (as it is our last day!!!) and Nina and I have been unable to go to our booth for the past 3 days since we have both been nursing our health. Tomorrow, perhaps would be a perfect time to visit and meet/greet our clients. Hope to see you!
I am also getting weird looks in the mall as the swine flu scare, which is more of a conversion disorder than an actual lethal epidemic, made people veer as far away from me as possible whenever I cough or sneeze. It’s quite funny since my cough and colds are cause by allergy and not an infection but given that I, myself, am immuno-compromised due to steroid therapy, I don’t blame people for being quite wary. Haha.
Tell me if the outfit worked! xx
