Hello Chictopians! It is such an honor for me to contribute to the World Ugly Blog. Chictopia has given me so much inspiration, especially on days when I have no idea what to wear, and it has made me more creative with my outfits. It also gave me a lot of opportunities such as being featured in International fashion sites and of course, being able to contribute to this blog. I would like to share with you the outfits that I will be wearing this season. For me, all these outfits are a reflection of who I am and what my outfits are: unpredictable, classic with a twist and fun. I also think that these six pieces that I will be sharing with you can withstand season after season and can be worn in so many different ways. Fashion is not merely about following trends, it is being wise especially now because of the Recession. Spend your money on pieces that will boost your confidence and make you feel classic because as Nina Garcia (one of my fashion inspirations) said it: “There is no substitute for feeling this way, ever.â€
1. Animal Prints+ Liquid Skirt
This outfit screams fierce, don’t you think? I am not really a fan of wearing animal prints but this sheer dress worn as a top is just irresistible and lately, I have been more daring and experimental with my outfits. Nina Garcia, in her book, The 100, also said that, “those who are truly fashionable are always daring and never dull and that an animal print outfit paves way for one to be bold. It allows you to throw in that slight element of danger on an otherwise safe outfit and let the world know that there is more to you than meets the eyeâ€
The liquid skirt is kind of tricky to pull off, as you do not want to end up looking trashy and slutty at the same time. My philosophy is that if you are wearing short skirts, wear a loose top, or tops with sleeves so that the outfit is balanced.

2. Floral Dresses
This was actually a long dress from my mom that I altered. Floral dresses are just in right now and can be worn with a blazer, a vest and can be dressed down by wearing flats/sandals and can look glam in an instant by wearing heels. I love that flowery prints/dresses can make one look sweet and fierce at the same time. There are so many stores that offers a lot of pretty floral dresses (Topshop, H&M, Zara, Mango, thrift stores and of course, your mom or Grandmom’s closet)

3. Studded Skirt
This is my favorite skirt right now. I have worn this three times already and people always tell me that they love this. It is so Balmain and everyone loves anything Balmain. Because the skirt itself speaks volumes already, I just paired it with a simple white tanktop. This can be worn with a plain jacket, boyfriend shirt, can be worn during the day with flats and perfect for night outs!

4. Fringes
I love this top/dress because it is so fun and classic at the same time. I love that it reminds me of Rumi, also one of my inspirations.

5. Blazers
I love blazers. In fact, I have it in red, orange, yellow, blue, black, striped, and animal printed. It is just hard to wear especially because the weather can be very unpredictable. But then again, you can wear this with a dress to look laid back and fabulous at the same time, can be worn on days when you are rushing and still want to look bold and fashionable, can be worn to work and it can easily spice up or tone down the outfit.

6. SHOES
My number one addiction would be shoes. It can easily make any outfit look smashing by wearing the perfect shoes. I rely on International sites such as Go Jane, Cutesygirl.com and even multiply sites for all my heels.
So there you have it, my key items for this season. I hope I was able to inspire you the same way that all of you guys have inspired me. J Xoxo!!
