Hi Everyone,
My childhood is plagued with memories of horrible mom-made fashion choices. I remember these ridiculous high-waisted, corduroy red pants that she insisted I wear a lot. Since then, I’ve been a little—maybe a lot—reluctant to tuck in my shirts into high-waisted items like skirts and shorts. But, I’m turning over a new leaf and am loving this trend, as you can see in my previous posts! It definitely hides a lot of my problem areas… :) Today, I was inspired by an outfit by Rachel Bilson.
I also remember my mother telling me not to wear yellow because we are yellow and the clothes just wouldn’t look good. What can I say? I’m a rebel! hehe (:< I scored this yellow cardigan up in SF for $10 at H&M’s huge sale!! These shorts are marked “mid-rise,” but I think since I’m short they work well as high-waisted :)
Though I was never a big fan of his music or his actions, there is no doubt the vast influence he’s had on our generation so…RIP Michael Jackson!

PPS Year One sucked. Jack Black tried too hard :( BUT The Proposal is freaking amazing!! It was so cute and funny! Ryan Renolds is such a hotty ;] I cried twice in that movie, happy tears of course :)
Loving the yellow, so funny I never wear yellow either because my mom used to say that too!
