I need bike shorts too! They bring mini dresses and skirts to a whole new level of decency. But for some reason I feel like there are no good ones (thrifted or otherwise) now that I'm determined to get some. P.S. These colors are sharp (obviously).

I'm so into the red, white & blue combination- lovely. I recently just made DIY shorts out of my old but kickin' jeans. My once fave pair of jeans turned into my fave pair of shorts. Oh and as for the Big Apple-- definitely hit up Times Square in the nighttime and get around to the MoMA (Museum of Mod Art), you won't be sorry. And of course, the Forever 21 will knock your socks off! Have fun <3

I love this look and that adorable bow! That is so funny that you will be in the city for a month, because I will too. A lot of people would probably recommend Cheap Jack's vintage, but I wouldn't really. In my opinion they are overpriced and the variety is lacking. Another late outfit…this was from my first final exam on Friday, then going to the ICA to see the Shepard Fairey exhibit (SO GOOD) and eating fried scallops and various other things for dinner. (mmmm…..)
Well anyways I wanted to be comfortable but not sloppy and it was raining and I decided to go for the full obnoxious red, white and blue look and yeah. Oh and I’m starting to enjoy wearing a huge bow in my hair. I just turned my pink jeans into shorts and I’m going to make the extra material into an enormous Minnie Mouse bow.
Also – I kind of need some bike shorts in my life. I might just buy some leggings (hopefully shiny ones) and cut them into shorts – I think they’d look good/interesting under dresses or skirts.

OH AND I’m going to New York tomorrow and staying there for a month…any shopping tips? advice? places to avoid? pretty please?
