God damn it, I love John Malkovich. He has the most amazing way of yelling “fuck!” in people’s faces in what seems like every film he appears in. Anyway, I’m going to see Disgrace tonight, which is based on a novel of the same name by J.M. Coetzee. I haven’t read it, but my boyfriend has. He says the novel is incredibly depressing, so we made sure to book a table for dinner for beforehand.
Some homework for you guys – go and rent the following films that star or have some kind of connection with John Malkovich:
* Adaptation
* Being John Malkovich (!!!)
* Burn After Reading
* Colour Me Kubrick.
Furthermore, go out and see every film written (or more recently written and directed) by Charlie Kaufman.
Oh, and about the outfit. One of my favourite basic silhouettes is a slouchy top with something high-waisted. It’s pretty simple, but it features my favourite new shoe-boots that I talked about in the last post. I bought them yesterday and naturally couldn’t wait to wear them. This t-shirt was also bought yesterday. It has the obligatory Wang pocket. (Yes, I made that sound dirty on purpose.) Also pictured is my newest leather jacket which I saved $300 on. Score!
It's such a simple outfit, but that's the genius of it! It's perfect!! With the jacket, ray bans and shoes... It's just tops!! The perfect daytime outfit!
