I wore this outfit to a relaxing and stress-free Sunday at Rockwell which is like second home to me. I love Sundays at Rockwell but on this particular day, I was very sad since everyone was going back to school and as usual, I am forever stuck on vacation mode. I was contemplating on watching Taking of Pelham 123 but we got too lazy and now, looking back, I so regret not being to do so!
To add further insult to injury, I am on forced self-confinement at home which is my own personal bubble. On the bright side, the grounded mode I am in at 22 years old has given me the chance to:
1) Update Chictopia with lag outfit entries. The queue for unposted outfits is building up!!!
2) Clean my room 10 x a day to immaculate spotlessness.
3) Fix the GLITTERATI WEBSITE and transition to a new color era of pink and black which is sooooo me and Nina.
4) Scan newspaper photos from the Philippine Star as we were featured today.
5) Process, process and process some more orders and inventory! I swear I am loving it!
I have been living on a diet of white rice and…that’s basically it. No beef dish or anything to detox my body from whatever allergen I ate and currently have in my system causing my hives to flareup incessantly!
But that’s a whole new story so for now, lets go back to fashion:
Anyway, this skirt is a tulip skirt in cotton twill from Glitterati called Metallic Maze. What I did to mix things up a bit was add a black studded Cintura belt over the waist band to give it a totally new look ala Carrie Bradshaw. Paired it with an old sleeveless muscle tee I got from Hongkong ages ago which I rediscovered in my closet and the NEW shoes I got from Miss Sixty which I bought last Saturday from a shoot I had with Stella Magazine. In about an hour’s time, the shoot turned into a major shoes shopping spree for me and I got two pairs again- one is this and the other pair is neon green patent kitten heel shoes which scream Lady Gaga!
The booties are one of my favorite black shoes lately. I just realized today I have over 45 pairs of Black strappy gladiator heels. I cannot promise not to buy more since I just ordered yet again online just now. So what I can promise is post them and wear them out more!!! Or maybe I can have like a garage sale for some of them? Haha. Lemme know what you think! xx
