This is where it could start. Nothing for a mile up the leg. Perhaps a white mini-skirt...or a long tightly fitted asymmetrical dress with a giant angular collar in either vertical black stripes or one stripe going from top to bottom.

I have a pair of cage boots (alas not the real ones) but I LOVE them. They work so well with simple, understated outfits. I also adore them with skinny jeans! (I think my model is wearing them in at least one of the photos I have posted)
