mister blue sky

It was lovely and sunny outside today…which is a nice way of me saying that I can’t think of a better way to start a post than talking about the weather. I had lunch on the field…decided we need to plan a trip to the beach soon…broke in my new sandals…ate leftover wedding cake and beef chow foon (two unrelated menus, don’t worry)…got lots of “greek goddess/egyptian princess” etc. compliments, some from friends and one from a stranger…finally got some sewing done…and all in all, had an enjoyable day.

But I am kind of worried that the only combination I can think of with this dress is a gold headchain + sandals. What else goes with a 70’s pleated maxi dress??? Suggestions are more than welcome.

I kept twirling around for people to show them how cool the bottom of this dress is but then I got really dizzy…you can sort of see it in the 3rd photo. Oh and in case any nitpicky readers are wondering, no I did not shrink 5 inches in height between the 1st and 2nd photos, I was standing on my tiptoes so I would look really tall. :)
