hihihiiiii :)
argh gotta get round to reply to everyone… :P
almost done with uni, gotta hand in some more assignments and i’m done for the semester! so close yet so far…
yeah… i don’t wear pink much, i’m trying to get into it a bit more…! so are you liking my asymmetrical look? haha…
punk is a good example of the trickle-up theory, that is high fashion inspired by what’s happening at street level… heaps of fashion designers have used punk elements in their work, and then it trickles down again… i’m sure everyone’s seen mass produced punk fashions in chain stores- tartan skirts with chains on them, singlets with slogans in sex pistols type font etc…
everything is becoming increasingly commercialised… i’m tired of teenagers wearing tight jeans, converses and band tshirts and proclaiming they are so punk.
now in no way do i consider myself to be a punk, but cmon kids bands like good charlotte and kisschasy are neither hardcore nor punk! o_0 please at least familiarise yourself with early punk rock bands, how about the dammned, the saints, the sex pistols? for more contemporary punk rock and its subgenres how about nofx, millencolin, bad religion, the living end, rancid? not more mainstream generic pop-punk :P
haha ok rant over
hope you have a good week <3

an elbow length fishnet would have garnered a 10, but what does some dude know anyway? :)
