to anyone that was wondering, the boots have a cutout at the foot that makes it look like it's two pieces - but they're connected!! to woohoo: I used a white chalk pencil to draw a line first, then made a cut with scissors. it's sooo soool when people let you wear everything you want..I remembered yesterday I went to a movies with my sister..and I wore this black fringe ankle boots that day..I know at my town they haven't really kindda used to crazy fashion things..Then people starts looking at me like I'm somekindda freak..some people even laugh at me..I mean..I'm amazed how people can be so mean..

I love how living in New York lets me wear pretty much whatever I want… Growing up in a suburb outside of Dallas, I know what it’s like to get a few stares for not wearing what everyone else is wearing.
This dress is a great Allegra-inspired DIY piece I did with an AA tshirt dress. Took me hours but it’s worth it and perfect to wear when it’s hot outside!
