This weekend was so windy I decided to bundle up and style my new burgundy long coat. I styled it an all-black look and heels to give it a chic look. Because patterns and brand logos seem to be making a comeback, I thought it would be ok to pair one of my favorite handbags (a gift from my parents for my 21st) with the coat. I love the way the recognizable plaid pairs with this color because what’s fall style without burgundy and plaid?

This coat is another great piece from make me chic– which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shop. The quality is great and the prices are amazing. Next I’m thinking of wearing this coat with jeans, sneakers and a simple long-sleeve cotton top for a more casual look.
