A vest is one of those pieces that aren’t always the easiest to style. They come in all different sizes and styles and somehow don’t always give you the look you were going for. At least that’s always been my experience so I always tended to avoid them for the most part. So when I decided on this Silver Jeans hooded sweater vest, I felt like I was going to run into the same problem, but I really like this piece and decided to go with my initial instinct. And I was right, this sweater vest broke my vest styling curse and is actually super easy to style. It lays effortlessly and if you style it like you might a casual coat, you won’t have any issues.
I paired it with a casual collared shirt, jeans and my new otk boots. Without the vest, this outfit would still have style but the vest gives it a little something extra. Plus, it’s perfect for a chilly day. The hood and large pockets give this piece function as well. I really love this vest and can’t wait to style it this season. I’m even thinking it would look great with a long sleeved body con dress for a night out in the city.
