The whole idea of transitioning into fall might seem so out of reach for some of us, especially here in Portland since it finally started to really warm up this week! but we're not far from those warm days that turn into chilly nights. i actually love the end of style but it can be difficult to figure out what to wear during it. So I've decided to share some ideas on how you can rethink your summer closete and make it a little more fall friendly!

1. Maxi/Midi dresses: these are perfect for both summer and fall. This one I am wearing is light enough for warmer days but the long sleeve and length make it fall friendly as well.

2. Bring out those ankle boots! Some people don't like wearing boots in the summer, which is fine, I actually love it! They're great for transitioning those summer dresses into more fall appropriate looks!

3. Try more fall inspired colors: jewel tones and neutrals always remind me of fall and it's the perfect way to slowly reintroduce your wardrobe to a fall midset. I think this dress is a good example! I can't wait to wear it throughout the next couple of months!
