A simple outfit for a simple day. Just lounging around at home, watching TV (since I don’t have it in my apartment in Berkeley) and wondering how on earth one can have cable and DVR and still have absolutely nothing to watch. Sigh.
Maybe I’m just immature, but I watch cartoons more than most else that’s on TV right now (I hate the between-season lull.) I kind of enjoy Kim Possible and The Emperor’s New School, admittedly, but I only watch them because my favorite cartoon, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, seems to have been cancelled. That seems to always happen to shows I like. I must have weird taste or something.
Anyways, the blouse is something I thrifted yesterday, in the hospice thrift shop. That place seems to have much better stuff than the Goodwill next door, as it’s also where I got my crazy belt from yesterday’s post. I’m hoping to keep that place a secret though, so shhhh. ;)
The shoes are clearly not vintage, but are new from UO. I kind of love them and finally caved in to buying them. They are fairly comfy, though all of the cutouts kind of dig into my feet a bit. Still, they are quite nice, and I love the heel. They are almost a wedge, but are just shy of that, as they don’t fully connect in the middle (not sure if that’s clear) I think that’s my favorite shape of heel!
Oh, and sorry that the pics are a bit blurry… this is why you shouldn’t let your 11-year-old brother take your pictures, haha
