it’s the first time i attended a fashion show. Philippine Fashion Week Holiday Luxewear Collection as well as the solo show of our school’s director, Shanon Pamaong. i was late but good thing the show started late too!
the Luxewear collection was pretty interesting. 1 designer tried to simulate leanne from project runway’s designs..you know those panels and waves. one designer, well, was really a downer. fabric choice was horrible, the belts used to accessorize are the typical wide belts here in manila…you know the one you can buy for 100pesos!!!
but, there were some designers who had outstanding pieces. i especially loved nolie vineza’s collection!! plus the designer who did beading with big beads. i didn’t pay much attention to the designers.lol. of course, we rooted for our teacher, paul herrera’s collection. he had simple garments, as his main focus are his bags and accessories. tomorrow, we’ll be watching the barbie show. had so much fun today!!!!
