A scarf can be major key when trying to add that extra cuteness factor to a casual look. I love this stripe shirt paired with my most relaxing boyfriend jeans and adding this hair scarf gave it that pop of color and extra style that it needed. Try the Knotty at home by following the steps below. Also- check out The Scarf Shop for silk scarves that are great for styling as head pieces. The direct link to the red one is here.

The Knotty:
1. Hold a long rectangle scarf horizontally
2. Center the scarf at the nape of your neck
3. Bring the ends forward, pulling the scarf tight against the back of your head,
holding the ends upward toward the ceiling
4. Tie a knot to the side, near your temple
5. Continue to knot down the length of the scarf
6. Repeat until a quarter of the ends remain
7. Pull the knots back to frame the end of the scarf Tuck in the ends

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed this short scarf style tutorial!
