Fall is always a season I look forward to for it brings forth decadent fashion and standout glamour. Summer back here went by FAST and before we even got to tan, the rainy season came flooding in. Naturally, it is useless to change nature’s course and since no one really has a say on the climate, fashion mavens have no choice but to accept, adapt, grin and bear it.
Yes,summer is over and rainy months are right around the corner…but this won’t dampen our spirits. Fashion is a never ending process and it’s all about timing. And so, here is a sneak preview of what we have in store for fall. It’ll be definitely HARDER, BETTER, FASTER, STRONGER
I will always love fringe. I adore the decadence and opulence of the 1920s and flapper style has always been alluring to me. However, this has always been self-limiting since my brother is allergic to feathers but that wont mean putting my flapper dreams to rest. I love everything about the era which is why for one pc.for the upcoming collection, we fringed it up and made a skirt thats all about the fringe. The skirt is made of yards and yards of satin fringes layered decadently around its lining. What I particularly love about it is how it says along with every movement i made that night. It felt so can-can but I loved it.
Even if my shoes hurt, they were fabulous for the dress and I got a whole lot of nice remarks when I wore this out to DEBBIE CO’s launch of her new collaboration line with Ensembles. I swear, Debbie Co works magic with clothes. Her designs and pieces are impeccable and I have had many dresses for her which is why i didn’t want to miss the show. The clothes were fabulous, indeed a collaboration between retail and high-fashion…and seriously, who wouldn’t want that?;)
