Walking Bike Shorts

Mr. Alexander Wang always goes outside the proverbial box with his unexpected, but completely cool collections. Something that was hard to miss this pre-fall (I know, it’s not even summer yet) was how he layered tunics and long jackets over super sheer bike shorts.

Now, while bike shorts are not the easiest thing to pull off, a better alternative is flattering on almost everyone: the walking shorts.

These are tropical wool by Ralph Lauren Golf and are super easy to pair with either casual wear, work clothes, or party wear.

I paired it with this tunic that I got on sale last winter from French Connection UK, a watch that a very close friend gave me in Georgia, and these gray suede ankle booties from Nine West.
