I’m baaaaack! The weeklong hiatus was due to my lagged mind which was still on vacation mode as a direct effect of going to the beach and chilling there, I had post-beach syndrome…or something! Anyway, I have tons of outfits to post, starting with this one which I wore last night to a friend’s party since he was off to jetset to Italy-Greece-Turkey-Paris for 3 weeks.
Obviously i am so envious. The Paris thing is enough to turn me a different shade of green with envy but I have to wait it out before I get to travel or board an airplane. My heart doctor has not cleared me to travel in planes since my heart might beat faster faster faster so as of now, I’m stuck to land traveling which is so not traveling at all if you live in one of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines. Flying is essential. So I’m stuck in the city while everyone is having happy hour sunset style in paradise.
I was feeling very Alexander Wang last night. As a designer, I think he is just GENIUS. He is changing the world of fashion as we speak and I think that in itself is pure genius! So this is an ode to him… very different from the things I usually wear but what the heck… CHANGE IS GOOD. Change is essential.
I curled my hair for the first time which took me an hour more in dressing up but overall, I achieved the look I wanted. Sequined Skirt, Black tube top, Loose Camisole and studs. I am of course still wearing my silver ultra-haute glam necklace from Mika of Tiramisu and my fave silver shoes.
Finished off with a suede head rope hippie style which I got from a lace shoppe.
I am also turning into a big klutz who suffers hard core accidents. I had a very bad wound when I went to the beach since my foot went inside the filter hole when I was walking back from the swimming pool. As a result I have an eggplant bruise on my lower leg and a scar on my knees (look closer at my right leg to see). Then I fell on a stool which crashed and left me landing on my butt literally. Yesterday, I burned three fingers with a flat iron I conveniently place my hands on…it took me 3 seconds to realize i was getting burnt. Ack. JUST MY LUCK! xx
