Just an idea of a comfy everyday-ish outfit. It’s mostly inspired by APC, Lover’s current collection, and Rhiannon of Liebemarlene Vintage. I’ll spare you the manifestos and just talk about a few of the pieces, like a good blogger ought to.
I finally found a vintage chambray sailor shirt in a vintage store on Telegraph and knew immediately that I would be wearing it all the time. A tad big, but that’s nothing that can’t be changed with a nice belt, though I might get it altered in the future, maybe. Definitely a keeper.
The belt, (which I actually didn’t get a good picture of, but is very cool, I promise) is one of the only things my mother has ever picked out for me that I’ve liked (she hates everything I wear). Endless gloating from her ensued.
The shoes are from last summer, and are probably one of my most frequently worn pairs. They were originally a random purchase in order to fulfill a free-shipping deal and ended up being the only thing I kept from the order (my life works out that way far too often). I love how the platform kind of continues through the entire shoe.
I wish it would stop being so cloudy and rainy (but warm!!) in Berkeley. I love rain, but color correcting low lighting takes so much longer than normal. At least it’s good practice. :)
