That’s exactly how I felt today in my party dress and topper hat. To be truly party ready, I’d throw on a pair of heels, lose the tights and denim jacket and pull my hair into a side chignon.Ahhhh, maybe i’m feeling like this after seeing a billion pictures of the “Model as Muse” costume ball at The Met; being in NY and all…how can I not be jealous?? “Where’s my invite? Oh it got lost in the mail?? O.k. i’ll come anyways” hahaha
I highly recommend checking out the pics on style.com. My personal fave is Stella McCartney in a beautiful lace fitted jumpsuit!!! Need it in my life!!
As for my outfit today: I ordered this dress from work (kensie) it’s a beautiful soft linen fabric and has a cute little ruffle at the bottom in a mini leopard print (same as ruffle going down the middle). I paired it with brown tights because of the weather, ivory flats (comfort) and a jean jacket to tone it down a little.
My purple hat thingy is a left over sample that was hanging around in our showroom. I was asking our creative/stylist guy if there were any accessories/props that he was done with ( I was mainly looking for purses/hats) and he pulled this out!!! So freakin’ cute! What an awesome score, I love free shit.
