While black has been and still is a staple color for most of my sartorial lifetime (my friends complain I wear it too much), I often gravitate towards all neutral shades of blue and navy. It's a color that knows no seasons, just like black, and comes in varying shades and textures that can be easily styled for any occasion.
When my friends Yuka, Shawn and Randy joined me for a daytime outing on top of a penthouse rooftop, I decided to recreate my own version of the Canadian tuxedo styled with a luxe but loose linen denim shirt and fitted, patch-work jogger trousers all from Matiere's SS14 collection. Both the fit and colors are appropriate during transitional weather climates, making it ideal pieces for mixing and matching. Personally, for me, I prefer the onesie jumpsuit effect.
