omg i am back again! my body is deathly sore you guys. i went on a biking-camping trip this weekend through the sacramento river delta. it was amazing, that place is seriously untouched by time, though the water levels are rising and causing a bit of concern, all thanks to global warming. yeah, so… me and a group of friends biked about 50 miles around the river and camped right at the waters’ edge. it was epic. but i injured my ankle (hence, flats) and can barely walk today, and let’s just imagine how one feels after sitting on a bike saddle for 10 plus hours….
anyway, once i recover, i will feel slightly more fit and a bit more bad ass for my accomplishment. (though i’ve never mentioned it here, i’ve already biked most of the california coast, so this was a relatively tiny trip.)
BUT back to fashion. this is why these adorable little mexican dresses never get old (for me). it’s a part of my spring/summer uniform. even when i’d rather be sleeping all day, i can throw this on and feel pretty darn cute in comparison to how i’m feeling. and this one is new in the mail today. the details are splendid, but they didn’t show up too well in the photos. it’s a thick woven gauze/linen with lots of crochet and woven details and vertical ribbon stripes. and what outfit of mine would be complete without yet another sash in yet another color!!!! oh, if only i had yellow saltwater sandals, i think this outfit would be love. haha.
i am really loving this particular bright turquoise/dark mint color, especially when paired with peach and yellow. i just got an amazing pair of paper bag waist pants in this same color and i need to get a peach (or maybe nude?) tank top to finish off the look. and i really do need yellow shoes!
ow, i need painkillers!

Sandals looks fine... and your dress is too. Let's try this one....... http://www.saltwater-sandals.net/
