Pearls Galore

Last year I got these gumball-sized pearls at a thrift fair. I haven’t been sure how to wear them or when it would work…and have only worn them once since buying them. Today was a lovely spring day…a warm, lovely spring day, I should say…and I thought to myself ‘today is the day.’ I paired them with a dress that I bought at the end of last summer and have only worn once before.

Today I took a walk on my break from work. I was on my way to a coffee shop, past a park filled with blooming flowers, wearing my beautiful vintage dress and pearls, when “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall came on my ipod. It was a movie-perfect moment. Ahhhh….
