I don’t know if I have mentioned this for awhile, but I get up really early for work. I wake up in the dark to my mobile alarm (Funky Monks – Red Hot Chili Peppers) at 5.45am, boil the kettle + make a cup of Earl Grey tea, sleepily check my emails, do my hair + makeup, coax my man out of bed so I can get changed, coax him again to snap a piccy + then hop in my car to go to work. Definite routine + happens like clockwork. I can’t wait til it’s summer + sunny in the mornings (not cold + pitch black) so I might be able to skip the ‘coax my man out of bed’ part. So I was stoked this morning when the sun decided to come up a little earlier + grace us with its presence so that my whole morning routine wasn’t in the dark. Made my day!
Simple casual outfit today was the plan, so it’ll be nice + easy to take me from work, to my afternoon/evening drinks + catch ups at home with my girlfriend. Cheap wine is on the menu + I can’t wait!
Loving this ruffle-central floral top from Sportsgirl. (Was one of my layby items that when I picked up was on sale so I got it at the sale price.. stoked!) I’ve worn similar outfits to this a few times because it’s simple, comfy + cute. I’m sold.
