feels like spring

Today was perfect. Crisp, but not cold…sunny, but with a beautiful deep blue sky full of lovely clouds. The light was amazing walking home from class. I knew before I left that it would be a bit too cold for bare legs and no coat, so I threw on some tights and the leather trench that I bought at a street market in the UK two years ago.

I also wore one of the most interesting pieces of jewelry I own: a very large pastoral locket bought at a rural antique store in Tennessee that we stopped at on our road trip last summer. I can’t wear it everyday, but am always excited when I can work it into an outfit. Happy spring everyone!
