As a freelance consultant and all-around creative, I am always on the lookout for different coffee shops and vibrant, quaint hangouts as work spaces. I am going to go ahead and coin ourselves as "office nomads" -- constantly on the go and in the pursuit of worthy locations to get our creative juices flowin'
This time we found ourselves between two appointments, with like-minded creative friends, Reyal Fashion and Emma and The Hunter, at Graffiti Cafe. It was love at first sight, when I saw the high ceilings, an all-white, minimalist interior and hanging art mobile reminiscent of Calder's famous works. The iced green teas we had weren't too shabby either, as we powered through that afternoon's creative session.
Even on an "off-day," I couldn't resist jazzing up my outfit with a pair of Prada loafers. The studs give off a more edgy yet casual vibe, which is essentially a sartorial motto for me. And, of course, nothing quite compares to doing it all, in a Bolivares' sweatshirt, made for comfort and function, as well as Warby Parker Hall sunglasses, from their latest Spectrum Sun Collection.
