Basically the most amazing circus novelty print. I am sad to let this go.

Laziness cuts me like fine cutlery. Wearing sunglasses indoors might trigger connotations of douchebaggery (sorry, sorry), but I didn’t wanna bother with putting on any make-up today.
Peace of mind over design. On my playsuit, you can’t really tell that the shorts were McGyvered into bloomers with elastic — just to prevent any booty slips. Also, I can’t pull off wearing this sans layers otherwise it ends up looking more like lingerie. I feel like there’s a limit to what girls with boobs can wear without looking skankaroo. Whereas if you put the same things — say, plunging necklines or sleek bustiers — on less busty gals, it would look incredibly chic!
I promised to splurge on only one investment piece to get me through spring; these Miu Miu clogs had to be it. I immediately loved the medieval details and how they’re kinda shaped like traditional dutch clogs, but didn’t wanna make any hasty decisions. So I sat on it for a month and kept scavenging eBay until a reasonable deal popped up. Which brings me to the question of quality vs. quantity. Would you rather have plenty of so-so things or few of what you absolutely adore?

This makes me feel like a character straight out of Lord of the Rings.

these baggy trousers were hidden in the depths of my overflowing closet. they’re reconstructed from last year’s charlie chaplin costume. i used to reserve dressing up like a boy only for special occasions like halloween, until discovering that menswear can deliver just as much as your favorite little black dress. they’re timeless, versatile, and impeccably tailored pieces. making them an easy go-to when your boyfriend decides to surprise you at the last minute by taking you to a crowded street festival for hotdogs, beer by the keg, and a crapload of dancing, yay! (we are romantics, i know ;D)
with all the walking and ankle socks (to ward off blisters) i figure i would have broken in my patent penny loafers, but it turns out they are still the most uncomfortable shoes i own. which is a shame ‘cause they are so dang cute! luckily there was enough alcohol in my system to numb the pain when i should have been limping. it seems like every other entry, i am talking about a night of wine, or beer, or some fancy schmancy cocktail. you don’t need to schedule an intervention, for real! i just like the feeling of not being in control all the time. and happy drinks help me get there.

the kind of girl who dons animal prints, i imagine, is the same kind who has enough feistiness to turn heads. but here’s one instance where wild things can be tamed. and while i probably don’t have the strength of character to make leopard a staple, the softest silk/rayon knit is enough to leave me purring contentedly.
