I call it “Audrey Hepburn meets Tank Girl in Midtown.” I love vintage and pretty things, but I most definitely have a tough aspects to my style: leather, studs, black/brown/grey/olive, military and uniform influences, body-con. On the vintage/Audrey side, I love cardigans, classic lines, good pumps, black pants, black anything really. I also wear my hair short. I had to put in the “Midtown” because I work, a LOT. I have a full-time job and I am also starting my own business, am a music producer and DJ, and my life is about how to cram 36 hours into 24. That means carrying things that go from night to day, how to manage with bags and stuff, how to be cute and stylish but at the same time PRACTICAL, how to have a flexible outfit that can go from work to dinner to the club. I lead such a busy life I need my fashion to work with me…I am out here running for the subway with the rest of the working girls.
I love hats, boots, and heels.
