I submitted the first photo to this Manila Streetwear contest sponsored by the Japan Foundation. It was held at SM Mall of Asia last Saturday. Little did I know that this picture would end up winning. Anyway, it was kind of a bummer because I thought it was a streetwear contest but there were several people wearing Harajuku cosplay inspired outfits. I even some some goth Lolitas here and there. But it was certainly fun and crazy! I have always been a huge fan of Japanese fashion so when I found out about this event I just had to check it out. The highlight of the evening was when fashion maven Cecila Van Straten aka Chuvaness approached me and told me she adored what I was wearing. She collaborated with the organizers of the event for the Streetwear Photo Exhibit. She was also one of the appointed judges for the fabulous event. Anyway, she disclosed to me that she gave a 99% percent. Isn’t that lovely?

FYI, Cecile is the one wearing the white dress wearing this fabulous Chuck Taylor clogs….Simply amazing!!!

Just enjoying the beautiful weather at the beautiful Château de Versailles. The hoodie that I’m wearing on the picture is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. It is very versatile and an excellent layering piece.

Whenever I am browsing at my favorite stores I always skip the colorful section and go straight to my comfort-zone black. My wardrobe obviously consists of mostly black pieces. Lately I have been adding a little bit of color to my wardrobe since it is tropical here in Manila. Anyway, I added a couple of bonus pictures to showcase my new man purse which I got while I was in Paris last October. Look how me and my Mom are matching. LOL. Also, check out my favorite tuxedo cardigan which you can wear several ways.

Weather in Europe is quite unpredictable so it’s advisable to take a sweater or scarf with you whenever you are traveling. Thank goodness sporting ginormous bags is quite the trend now. It’s funny how my man bag addiction has evolved from tiny body bags to massive cary-all totes.

Love love love Paris! Well who doesn’t love Paris? Anyway, it was free museum day in Paris so I had to drag myself into checking out Louvre and D’Orsay. Both are excellent in my opinion! I will definitely swing by both museums next time I’m in Paris. I decided to wear black and gray today since I wanted to fade into the canvas while gazing at all these priceless works of arts!

It was another chilly day in Helsinki last November. Of course I was in full-on fashionista garb even if it was supposedly below zero. Wearing layers and layers of clothing didn’t really help at all. After couple of hours strolling around the beautiful city I had to beg to my friend to get back to our cruise ship.
