I’ve been loving the idea of wearing pastels for spring. There is something so elegant and feminine about light pink, beige, and gold. I’m looking forward to playing around with other pastel pieces as I begin dressing for spring…even though there is still quite a bit of snow on the ground!

I had a morning where I decided to thrown on a bunch of different pieces without really thinking about it. The result is a little bit quirky!

This is one of my mom’s old sweaters. When she wore it back in the day, I remember making fun of the huge puffed sleeves…now, I consider the huge puffed sleeves to be the best part! It is 100% wool, which is perfect armor for this frigid weather…I think my facial expression in the second picture demonstrates how cold it is!

A few posts back I wore this sweater with more eclectic garments. I felt I wasn’t doing my sweater justice…it deserves a spotlight! To make up for it, today I decided to make it the focus of my outfit, pairing it with a black turtleneck dress and gray tights.

I begin my spring semester of school tomorrow.. I decided to stay comfortable on my last day (sans papers and books to study) in a loose pair of acid wash jeans and a airy gray top. The nice surprise about this top is that the silk fabric on the bottom hem makes up most of the back! So, when I wear this top casually and comfortably, I still can feel a little bit fabulous!

I’m keeping warm today is this big long sweater from Anthropologie and a wool dress from H&M. To make things exciting, I’ve paired my simple gray sweater and dress combination with lace tights from Urban Outfitters. And I couldn’t help but wear the lace-up boots! As you can see in the second picture, I like to twirl in them, albeit, quite ungracefully!
