Going back to sunny California tomorrow…

my bf finallyyyyy got his driver’s license…so I made him take us out on a proper date :) Also I bought this dress the same day, so I wanted an excuse to wear it out. Obviously I can’t get enough of these tights, third post in a row haha. We went to Inakaya, a Japanese restaurant where we got the most amazing sushi!

Merry belated Christmas! My internet’s been sooo slow so I haven’t been able to upload anything. Yesterday I went to go check out the Rodarte for Target collection – the gauzy slip dress that I had been eying turned out to be a disappointment, definitely looked better on the hanger :\ I also tried on the leopard print dress with the bows on the back – would have loved it if a) I could rock leopard print lace, lol, and b) the lace wasn’t so scratchy and c) the dress wasn’t so damn hard to put on! There’s a zip and a bunch of snap closures for the bows, and the material isn’t very stretchy at all. But I did come away with this Asian-floral-print raincoat, so cute!

Then I bought way too many (no such thing!) OPI nail polishes, I’m wearing Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees right now, but my day was ruined when my boyfriend lost our $26 tickets to Avatar: 3D. He makes me rage soooo much D: but then we went to go see the kitties at PetSmart and bought a reindeer hat and a bunch of catnip toys for my cats – they’ve never had catnip before! One of them went completely crazy.

my mommy calls me ‘little ghost’ because it seems like every time I want to go out, it rains…

today I went to the dentist, then the Asian grocery store to get xiao long bao (yum!), scored Lolita Lempicka perfume (for me) and YSL Opium (for the bf) from Marshall’s for super cheap. the Opium smells so good, can’t stop sniffing my wrist…I wish they had the women’s version, but alas. and finally lunch at Chik-fil-a. They don’t exist on the west coast, I suppose this is like the In-N-Out of the South.

Also, I whipped up this scarf in a couple of hours last night while watching 2012! It’s so warm and squishy…2012 wasn’t that good though, but I did have a few lols when one of the first things to happen was Caltech (my school) falling into the Pacific. hahahaha.

Almost everything in this outfit (bag, dress, tights) is a gift from my boyfriend! thank you :3
