On the last day of our road trip we went to the beach, it was beautiful because it was isolated and we were the only ones on the beach… apart from three country guys who were drining beer and “fishing” though, I didn’t really see them doing any fishing. We ate really cute sandwiches and wraps on the shore.
I ended up getting that new job, so I start tomorrow. I am a little bit nervous but so glad to get out of the job I had… I feel like a lot of stress has been lifted off my shoulders.
I need to find a nice new pair of bathers for summer!

I haven’t posted for a while, because my boyfriend and I went on a road trip to see my parents who live on a farm about 5 hours away from the city. It was really nice, and we got to relax which was probably the best part! It was really nice to see my parents and their bundle of pets. I got to feed a calf, and some pigs and some lambs! Then we went riding on the four wheeler bike. It was a really fun time!
These outfits aren’t the most interesting, but they were functional and comfy, and I really just wanted to update my blog!

Today after work, I put up my Christmas tree. I know, I know, it’s really early but I LOVE Christmas so much… I want get as much time celebrating it as possible. My boyfriend brought me two new decorations, A Christmas Mickey and a Christmas Minnie! I love Disney so much, they are really cute.
It was a really nice day, sort of sunny and still a little cool… however work was really busy today, and they are cutting back our staff which sucks because around Christmas it gets really busy! I hope that by the time I get back from Sydney I can get a new job!
Is anyone else really excited about Christmas?

Today was my unbirthday, but since we didn’t do anything special yesterday, today is the day it is all happening.
We went into Leederville and went to Leaf, which is a really nice cafe that specializes in gourmet high teas… and I had a london tea, which comes with cucumber sandwiches, cheese puffs and a little heart shaped teacake! I had liquorice tea on the side and my boyfriend had a granita.
Tonight I am going to the movies to see “The Box” with my boyfriend and my BFF and we will probably have Hans Cafe for dinner (which is like thai fast food, I think) then, it’s back to work. At least I had a nice few days off, and I am actually going for a trip to the country next week, so I have been a little lazy lately. I think it’s the weather changing, and getting hot.
Does anyone else prefer the colder months?

Today was my 25th Birthday, and it kind of sucked at first because my boyfriend and all my friends were at school or work…
I was meant to work, but I ended up not going (oops!) so I spent the day at home on my own. I watched that movie “New In Town” with Rene Zellwegger and Harry Conick Jnr (Cute!) and pottered about the house doing pretty much nothing other than a few dishes and watching C.I
Then my boyfriend came home, with a massive bunch of flowers and another birthday card that said "I love you so much, I got you two cards!) and we ate dinner on the balcony, and it was really nice… but then he has to go to work at 9pm until 2am and so I will probably not see him until tomorrow morning. Sad!
This dress I am wearing is amazing! It’s a vintage Alannah Hill dress that I got from Vinnies, FOR EIGHT DOLLARS! Yeah It was such a good find, I also got a Cooper St. dress for ten dollars.I am going to go back to that Vinnies and totally rumage through all the stuff there and see if there are anymore of these amazing deals there!
P.S My rack looks ridiculously big in this dress, plus or no?

Today was a really hectic, yet fun day! After a job interview at a beauty salon and a doctors appointment, I went shopping in Claremont with my boyfriend, and saw about 1000 things I wanted to buy. There are some really amazing things this season at Alannah Hill.
My boyfriend brought me a dress from Laura Ashley for my birthday (Which is tomorrow!) that I will probably wear on Saturday. When we were in there, the lady asked me if I worked at Alannah Hill – I laughed, and said “I wish!”
It really sucks because tomorrow, even though it’s my birthday, I won’t be able to see my boyfriend until Saturday. We both work such different schedules tomorrow, and he won’t be home until 2am. We do have all day on Saturday though!
I am really hoping I get this job, I am so sick of my job at the moment and it would really be nice to work in a real professional establishment.
