About My Style

That’s quite a task. Style. It’s hard to boil it down, because I think I’m always changing and trying out different things. Risks. That’s 99 percent of fashion, right?

I can say that I love classic, modern pieces mixed with timeless vintage ones. The contrast is just too fun. But ultimately, if I could raid Kate Moss’s closet, give it an Audrey Hepburn twist and throw in a dash of Chloe Sevigny, Alexa Chung and Chan Marshall, I’d have my dream closet at my fingertips.

After taking this photo, I realized (a bit too late) that posing while dressed for an evening out in front of a wall that reads: “For Sale” does not bode well in your favor when men happen to pass by. I swear, I am not a prostitute.

For those of you that frequent Atlantis Home, yes I am copying Judy Aldridge here. I just loved her combination of leather and plaid that I had to try it for myself. Can’t blame me for trying though, right?

My favorite thing about this hippie-esque picture taking adventure was when a VW van drove by mid-shot and the driver (a bearded smiling bohemian) gave me a peace sign. Naturally, I gave one back. We are supposed to give peace a chance, ya know.
