Something about the silhouette of these navy trousers makes me love them to pieces. They’re awesomely high-waisted and provide the perfect amount of room for curvy hips. They’re simply precious. I paired them with an Alexander Wang look-a-like tank and my boyfriend’s tarnished brown belt. Sadly, my waist is too small and I wasn’t able to buckle it so I decided to tie it together. The leather is so soft and completely worn out, that knotting the belt didn’t create any weird belt problems.

Another great find at the Goodwill. Love the fit and the super comfy material. The goodwill is like my favorite store actually… no joke. I could spend the entire day lurking through piles of grandma blouses and old man plaid shirts. Pure bliss indeed.

It is quite evident how much I cherish my sky-high heels, but as soon as I saw this pair of patent oxfords, I realized that I had finally found the most flawless pair of flat shoes. Usually I veer away from flat shoes because I have such an arched foot (shout-out to my mother) that shoes like this are actually quite uncomfortable for me. However, these bad boys kept me bustling all day long and I couldn’t be any more content with them. I really want to wear them with tights and socks..hmmm..

This is possibly one of most treasured dresses I’ve ever owned. I purchased it at the flea market today (by the way- totally not a brilliant idea to visit the flea market when you can feel the sun burning your scalp). Now I am not one to wear super frilly frocks, let alone anything ultra-flowery/hippish, so I decided to tone it down de-emphasize the bright colors by wearing it with my over-worn black belt and my Louboutins. The spirit of this bright dress is so lively, that even with minimal black accents, it seemed to speak for itself. I’m so happy I purchased it because I’m planning to wear it in the winter with an oversized cargo jacket and some killer shoes. Pure bliss in my bones.

I’m really excited for tomorrow’s patriotic holiday. It’s fourth of July! Probably one of my favorite holidays along with Christmas. Every year we throw a big pool party and invite my mother’s side of the family. About fifty people gather around the house and swim, play volleyball, snack on Mexican treats, and some how produce delicious food every thirty minutes. I’ll try to get some blog-worthy pictures tomorrow.
Oh and let me just tell you, this creme blazer has endured several near death traumas in the past month. Last week, I almost spilled hot sauce on it (and I’m not a fan of washing blazers as it ruins their natural shape) and today it almost got ran over by a dangerous driver. Who leaves their supposedly favorite blazer lying helplessly on the driveway?
