Here I come…..Whoohoo!
After much deliberation, this is what I put together for the Weenie Roast. I cannot wait to get there and dance to Kings of Leon.
Anyway, I got lucky..this dress was thrifted and for once I was able to cut and hem a straight line, hence, its a mini now…wheee! I also am wearing a vest and a beanie but you cant see it well in the pic. The one below, you can see the beanie a little better. Last but not least, I wanted to note proudly that the dress, shoes and vest were all purchased used.

I’m off……Cant wait to see what others are wearing….smile!

I’m on my way to have a relaxing mothers day with family..including Betty my dog.
I heard somewhere that suspenders were making a comeback and had to try. I found these at the Goodwill for a buck fifty. Anyway, aside from the hair..which got combed later…I think this was ok. Give me some feedback…hopefully nice feedback…lol. enjoy! and SMILE!

Does anyone remember the all female power trio that was Babes in Toyland? Had that amazing song “Bruise Violet” in the early 90’s? WELL I DO! :) & they are still to this day one of my favorite bands. Thats what inspired my dress today. They were so amazing…..old vintage dresses, with combat boots or doc’s. siiiiggghhhh……I miss them so. Anyway check out my
T strap mary janes….patent leather….LOVES THEM!!!
Sorry bout the bright red look at me belt….but its the only one I had to fit this dress. Lucky for me, it doesnt SCREAM holiday ensemble. enjoy….and if your feeling like a growling like a power chic…check out Babes in Toyland…you wont regret it. smile……

Its another scorcher today. I have to start finding my summer hairdo’s. Today I went with a quick braid thingy and some heart shaped shades. With the big, gold bamboos, I was feeling pretty sassy.
Thought of throwing on a belt too but honestly, its too darn hot for one more item of clothing. aaahhhh…..summer is upon us in the valley.

Well what do do when its 105?
Break out the summer wear. I’m so excited. I have so many dresses ready to go.
I cant tell you how excited I am. YEAH!

ok, I know I used the same pose in my previous post, but I am just having so much fun with clothes lately. I cannot pose seriously to save my life.
So anyway, I was going to wear this dress without leggings and a totally different pr. of boots but once it was on, 1. it was see- through and 2. the other boots were way too Pretty Woman for this dress.
So I relied on old faithful.
